Archive Info Structure SAP_SRB_MATBEL1 - adding fields

Hello,

 

I have a question regarding MM archiving info structure SAP_DRB_MATBE1. We have activated this and have been using it for a while now. We want to add the batch field to the field catalogue. How can this done? Adding the field to the info structure isn't a problem. However the SAP table ZARIXZMM4 associated with the info structure is active with millions of records in it. Is there any way to add the batch field to the info structure and then regenerate this table with the batch number included?

Problem on archieving Material Master (con2)

Dear Experts,

 

My problem is related to the following Forums -

I recently tested to archieve another Finished Good Material and found the following errors –

 

MBEW: 8200 plant is assigned to the valuation area

Message no. W4031

Diagnosis

The material cannot be archived for this valuation area since the material is still used in dependent tables.

Procedure

Delete these dependencies. You can then archive the material for the valuation area.

 

MARC: 8200 dependent special stocks at the customer exist

Message no. W4098

Procedure

Reduce the dependent special stocks of the material at the customer's to zero. You can then archive the material.

 

MARA:  Dependent material master data still exists

Message no. W4134

 

I think the main problem should be the 2nd error “W4098” but I found there is already no any stock in MMBE & MB52, and the last movement of this FG was on 23.12.2006. Even if I had archieved this FG in special stock object “MM_SPSTOCK”. The above errors were still found when archieving through Material Master object “MM_MATNR”.

 

Could you advise how to fix the above errors so as to archieve the FG Material ?

issues with àrchiving of PP_ORDER

Hi Archiving Gurus,

 

We are implementing the archiving  of PP_ORDER, we are not able to set the deletion flag for any of the orders with the pre-processing program of PP_ORDER and getting the below spool message.

 

1. Order type UP01 not found (check entry)

2. Inspection lot 030000000000 for order 1000000 does not have necessary status

3. Unprocessed future change recs for order 1000120 prevent del. flag/completion

4. Balance of ORD 1000000 is not zero

5. Order 1000522 is partially confirmed

 

Please help us on to resolve the same.

SD_VBRK, VBFA orphans, ARCHVBFA: permanent solution?

Hello,

 

to get rid of certain orphans in table VBFA, we implemented report ARCHVBFA (HW131051).

 

Even when this report works properly, we face the situation of being forced to run it manually even in the future, because the step of selecting the desired archive-file is not suitable to be processed in appropriate variants for running in background.

 

Did anyone experience the same situation (to have to run this report permanent manually)?

Is there another solution conceivable, which is suitable to avoid manual intervention?

Production mode archived more than test mode

Friends:

 

I have done SAP data archiving for many years but this is the first time I notice this.

 

I cloned a production system on a sandbox to test archiving object FI_DOCUMNT.

 

Last Monday I run a variant in test mode.

 

Last Wedensday I run the same variant in production mode.

 

When I compared their spools/logs  side by side in ECC, I noticed 5 extra entries for production mode.

 

Since it's a sandbox so it's not possible that some documents' status could be changed, since no transactions happend on it.

 

I also do not think that 2 days delay would make any difference to have this discrepancy because I selected very old data  that  was

entirely beyond the residence time specified.

 

I am sorry that I cannot post the difference here because the sandbox was overwritten by another system copy over last weekend.

I am not sure when I can re-test this.

 

It's ECC6ehp5. I searched OSS and did not see any bug reported.

 

Have you seen this problem for any archiving object?

Archiving of FI_ACCOUNT (G/L Account Master Data)

Hi Experts,

we are implementing the archiving of FI_ACCOUNT and able to archive few records successfully & few records are depending on the G/L account transaction figures but there are no records  available to archive transaction figures (Table - GLT0 & Object FI_TF_GLC)..

 

Please suggest me to proceed further

Data Ageing - What to do, if Time Selection Partitioning goes wrong

dear all

after creating a wrong partitioning spec in Data Ageing - Tx DAGPTC.

i found it impossible to immediately revert back to the state i had, prior to the mistake.

this is a test system, so no real damage done, however, in my attempts to find an answer/procedure, i found nothing, so if anyone can point me in a direct, i would be most grateful.

please dont just reference the administration guide.

what i am looking for, would be something like the syntax to merge a time partition, or undo a command, or something.

 

note: this problem has nothing to do with data aging runs, nor the undo functionality, as it is prior to any runs at all.

 

any help please

Some Records are Not considered For Archiving object MM_EKKO

Hi Experts,

While Archiving MM_EKKO object, some records are Not considering for Archiving, please can any one help me why those records are not considering for archiving.

The statistics of MM_EKKO object as follows

Error for Structural changes to DSO after NLS Archiving in BW on HANA?

Hi,

 

We are currently on SAP BW 7.31 SP07 HANA SP07.

We have implemented NLS on SYBASE IQ 16.

 

We have tested the below Archiving scenarios and we are stuck up in some scenarios.

 

1. Created and Offloaded DAP Process successfully for DSO data to NLS IQ from BW.

2. Reloaded successfully Archived data from NLS IQ back to BW on HANA.

3. Now we have done changes in structure to the same DSO and then tried to Reactivate the DAP Process. The Reactivation process gave an error and the error log is attached below.

Kindly please guide me how to solve the above issue.
